Like Mr. Newman did, Mr. Shelby is coming out with his own line of food products. Shelby Signature Foods will focus on healthy comfort foods and Texas specialties, such as Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Finish Line salad dressings, Header Hot habanera BBQ sauce, Regular, High-Test and Lo-Lead Coffee and Lug Nut and Dip Stick pretzels. He has never been shy about lending his name to merchandise, including luggage, cuff links, T-shirts, die-cast models, golf bags, playing cards, holiday ornaments, wine, action figures and money clips. In fact, Shelby Signature Foods isn't the firstdigestible items that Mr. Shelby has endorsed. He was involved with the creating the World Chili cook offs in Terlingua, TX in 1968, which eventually led to the creation of the "Carroll Shelby Chili Mix" which is distributed nationally. He is also the co-founder of Chili's Restaurant chain in 1975.
